cost用法区别

"cost"是一个英语单词，主要有两个用法：

1、作为名词，表示“花费”，如：The cost of the movie is $10.(这部电影的花费是10美元。)或者表示“代价”，如：The consequences of his actions will be far greater than the cost.(他行为的后果将远大于其代价。)

2、作为动词，有三个主要的用法，分别是：

- 与“to”连用，表示“花费(时间/金钱等)”，如：It costs me two hours to finish this task.(我花两个小时完成这个任务。)

- 直接加宾语，表示“使付出...的代价”，如：The storm cost many people their homes.(这场风暴使许多人失去了家园。)

- 加间接宾语和不定式，表示“值...”，如：The decision cost him a lot of money.(那个决定让他损失了很多钱。)

"cost"作为名词时，关注的是花费或代价；作为动词时，关注的是花费的时间、金钱或付出的代价。
