spend与take的区别

Spend和take都可以表示“花费”的意思，但它们的用法和侧重点略有不同。

1、Spend主要指金钱、时间或精力在某事物上，强调的是消耗的过程，I spent $100 on a new shirt.(我花了100美元买了一件新衬衫。)She spends most of her free time reading books.(她大部分空闲时间都在看书。)

2、Take主要指将某物移动到另一个地方，强调的是物品的转移，Can you take this box to the other room?(你能把这个盒子搬到另一个房间吗？)We took a trip to the beach last weekend.(上周末我们去了海滩旅行。)

3、Take还可以表示拿取、接受等意思，而spend则没有这层含义，I'll take the job if it pays well.(如果工资高，我会接受这份工作。)She took his advice and changed her career path.(她采纳了他的建议，改变了职业道路。)

4、在某些固定搭配中，spend和take不能互换，take a break(休息一下),spend a break(度过休息时间);take a shower(淋浴),spend a shower(花费淋浴的时间)。

5、在表示花费时间方面，spend通常用于正式场合，而take则较为口语化，It takes me about 30 minutes to get to work by subway.(我乘地铁上班大约需要30分钟。)I usually take the bus to work, but sometimes I drive.(我通常乘公交车上班，但有时开车去。)
